PC Alumni mourn passing of beloved theater faculty member John Paul

When news reached this PC alum of the passing of 91-year old John Paul, I was saddened to hear about the loss of this great individual. Tarkio, Missouri's native son spent much of his career at Phoenix College, building one of the best theater departments west of the Mississippi. John Paul was always a positive influence on students and his mentoring spanned across generations. Years after his retirement, it was always a delight to see him and his lovely wife Margaret supporting college theater productions and alumni events. John Paul will forever remembered as one of the most important people in Phoenix College history. Please share your memories of John Paul by posting them on our blog.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Central Methodist Church - Kendall Hall, 1875 N. Central Ave., Phoenix, AZ.
